Bozeman’s Jeremy Morton defeated Butte’s Brett Badovinac 21-10, 21-9 to win the open division of the 29th Annual Bill Ryan and Al Bersanti Memorial Handball Tournament at the Butte Elks. It is the second time Morton has won the tournament.
Butte’s Dan Bersanti defeated East Helena’s John Larson to defend his title in the Golden Masters Division, for players fifty and over. It was a rematch of last year’s final.
Blake Cassagranda of Butte won the B Division by virtue a three way tiebreaker. He won more games than Eric Bahr and Dawson Huff who also finished with at two wins and one loss record.
Sean Sandau defeated Jared Wierson Sunday in a Missoula grudge match.
